This unique one-of-a-kind Hand Crafted Pottery Trimming Tool is made in my studio workshop in Adelaide South Australia.
You will not find this combination of elegantly turned Blackwood handles combined with a forged tool steel blade anywhere.
Designed and built by myself for potters looking for a locally made quality tool combining versatility, craftmanship and lasting quality.
Handle sizing varies slightly from piece to piece approximately 13cm long x 2.5 cm diameter but all maintain the elegant ergonomic design.
Incorporating a tool steel trimming blade that is sharp, tough and can be re sharpened simply using a stone or fine sandpaper provides much more versatility than off the shelf standard trimmers made from softer steels.
